Watercooled Cables and Flexibles c.c. was formed by the take over by Busbar Installations (Pty) LTD of High Current Flexibles c.c. and Watercooled Cables c.c. in November 2002. The Company's operations were then moved to the premises of Busbar Installations (Pty) LTD in Ophirton, Johannesburg. (4000sq with 6 cranes)
The members of the corporation are Bob Boyd, and Kappie Turner. Kappie has 23 years experience in the field of Watercooled Cables and Flexibles
All existing staff some of whom have been employed for up to 24 years have stayed with the company.
The company operates a profit sharing scheme for the black workers and promotes on merit. Our workshop foreman Isack Molekwa has worked for the company for 24 years.
Our quality control system has progressed to a point where we hope to implement
1S0 9002 by early 2004.
Watercooled Cables and Flexibles manufacture all products in house with South
African supplied raw materials a labour.
